Turning Attuneā„¢ off and on

If you turn Attune off, the Attune Monitoring Agents will no longer be able to keep an eye on your computer and notify you in advance of situations that might cause you technical problems. In other words, you will not receive any new Intelligrams. If you do turn Attune off, you can always turn it back on at a later time.

There are two options for turning Attune off. You can either (1) turn off Automatic Updates, or (2) turn off Attune entirely.

Allow Automatic Updates: This feature enables Attune to automatically download new Intelligrams. If you deselect this option, Attune will continue monitoring your computer and display your existing Intelligrams as they become relevant, but you will not receive any new Intelligrams.

Turn Attune OFF: This option disables Attune entirely. If you choose this option you will be asked if you want to turn Attune off for the current session, or turn it off completely. If you decide to turn it off completely, you will be asked to confirm that this is what you want to do, or to select the alternate option, of turning off the Attune Monitoring Agents.

We strongly recommend that you do not make any changes to the Attune Monitoring Agents, as this will reduce your ability to receive relevant Intelligrams.

Important! Before you turn Attune off, please consider customizing Attune to better suit the way you work. For more information on how you can do this, see Customizing Attune.
